Very romantic, generally done with a candlelight service.
Handfasting Ceremony
Handfasting Ceremony
This is the original ‘tying of the knot.’ Old Irish, Scottish, or British wedding ritual that incorporates a braid created just for the bride and groom involving blessing for a long and happy marriage during the making of the braid. This concludes with a ‘Blessing of the Hands.’ The braid is a fantastic keepsake marking the occasion.
Native Indian Ceremony
Native Indian Ceremony
Native poems, prayers, and blessings. Smudging and drumming are also a part of this service, as well as the invocation of the four directions. Elders and family, as well as guests, are welcome to participate in the ceremony.
Warming of the Rings
Warming of the Rings
Blessing of the rings to be done by family or mothers prior to the service. The mothers, instead of the best man, will present the rings to the bride and groom.
Ring Exchanges (Including Children)
Ring Exchanges (Including Children)
Three ring services can be conducted or a special necklace for the children. This can include a commitment vow said to the children as part of a new family circle.
Sand Unity Ceremony
Sand Unity Ceremony
This is a perfect service when you want to include children. This is done when there is a general joining of two families who both have children. A wonderful keepsake of the occasion is included as well, which can be done with the bride and groom.
‘Jump the Broom’ Ceremony
‘Jump the Broom’ Ceremony
This is the traditional ancient African wedding ceremony long before clergy entered the picture. Once the couple jumps the broom while holding hands, the marriage is complete. A wonderful addition to a wedding ceremony.
Elopement Ceremony

A very quick service with little fanfare. This can be done to legalize a destination wedding. Simply do a symbolic wedding at your destination. Very short and sweet with no legal complications!

The lighting of candles symbolizing the joining together of two families. This can also be done as a memorial to a loved one no longer with you.

As a professionally ordained Metaphysical Minister, I embrace all religions as well as being able to provide services that are non-religious based. All the services that I provide are rites of passage and are performed with love and dedication to the families.

I am a Certified Funeral Celebrant, and I am here to serve the family. As a Metaphysical Minister, I embrace all religions as well as providing services with no religious affiliation. If you have any questions, please give me a call.
What does a Celebrant do?
A Celebrant is focused on the family to create a service that celebrates the life of their loved one. I spend time learning and creating a service from information received from friends and family. The family wants to let everyone know what an amazing person their loved one was. I have a background of working with end of life illness and can truly appreciate the feeling of grief and loss. Spiritual counselling can be provided.

Naming Ceremonies / Christenings / Baby Blessings
Baby naming ceremonies and christenings can be performed at the site of your choice. The birth of a baby or any addition to your family is a miraculous gift and should be celebrated with family and friends. A wonderful ceremony can be specifically created for your baby, child or children. This can be a religious ceremony or a more spiritual/metaphysical ceremony.
House Blessing or Clearing
House Blessing or Clearing
Wish to have your home blessed after you have moved in. This is a very simple ceremony designed for you specifically. Call me if you are having problems in your home, if you moved in or has someone been ill, or if have you had company and think it is time to clear all negative energy? Call me regarding a house clearing or a blessing.
Marriage Licence
Marriage Licence
You will need a marriage licence and this is to be provided by the Bride and Groom.
NOTE: A marriage licence is only valid for 90 days. Also, prices vary from one city to another.
